Azfar Rizvi is an award-winning documentary filmmaker recognized in the subcontinent for his work against extremism and promoting interfaith harmony. He has designed and taught media and journalism curriculums at Pakistani universities , while initiating special non-credit courses based on the paradigms of objectivity and acceptance in everyday life.

His work has been accepted in international film festivals and has been aired on CNN, BBC, CBC, Dawn News, Geo TV and Al Jazeera. He is a contributor to United Nation’s Millennium Development Goal Project and more recently, he has provided television content to international non-profits augmenting their campaigns in Pakistan. 

Rizvi is a featured photojournalist with the Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation for International Photography.
